My name is Alex Brown (They/Them). I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist (MSW, RSW) based in Ottawa, ON.
I provide virtual psychotherapy services to individuals 18+ across Ontario.
I chose the name ‘Wandering Mind’ to reclaim the beauty of our minds and to capture the ‘neurodivergent identity’. My practice is deeply rooted in my own identity as a queer and neurodivergent person. I know firsthand that therapy feels different when you don’t have to ‘explain your identity’ just to be understood. I provide a 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming neurodivergent inclusive space where your lived experience is at the forefront.
My practice, Wandering Mind, is located in Ottawa, on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation.
